A commissioned painting is more than just a piece of decor; it’s a unique creation, intricately woven with your essence, values, and aspirations. Imagine owning a work of art that uplifts you and enlightens your environment.

In order to have the best outcome for your painting, it’s better to keep an open mind and not force any specific imagery. Please share your inspiration, concepts, and any key symbolism. Then surrender to the creative process, allow for my artistic interpretation and spontaneous inspiration to evolve out of our session(s) together.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

The process for your commission starts with a complimentary 30 minute call in which we discuss your project concepts and timeframe. It is also a time when I may request photos of the environment that the painting will hang in, an opportunity to discuss shipping and transport logistics, as well as any questions you may have about your commission project. This is a great opportunity to explore the specifics of working together and if it is a good fit.

Your investment in a commissioned painting begins with a down payment of $500, signaling the commencement of our collaborative journey through your session(s) and sketches. This non-refundable deposit secures your place in my artistic queue, with the amount being included in the final price of your painting. If for any reason after the sketches are complete you choose to not go ahead with your project after paying, you may apply the payment towards any products on my website.

Upon approval of the sketches, a payment of 30%-50% of the total price is requested, which is used to order materials needed for your project. The remaining balance can payable upon completion or through installments during the agreed timeperiod that I’ll be executing your painting.

The base price for a commission begins at $2500, and can increase from there depending on the dimensions, materials, and other aspects of your painting. The smallest original painting I offer is 24 x 30 inches, and with increased dimensions anticipate $3 per square inch. Large quantites of genuine 24k gold may increase the price per square inch. My hourly rate is $150 per hour.

ABOUT THE COMMISSION PROCESS

GETTING STARTED

After your complimentary call, we’ll delve into your project, through either an in-person or virtual session(s) exploring the intricate blend of practicality and inspiration that defines your desired artwork. A session typically lasts 45-60 minutes, and serves as an opportunity to bring clarity and a depth of understanding. The sessions help to ensure your painting meets both the practical requirements for your project while embodying the essence of your inspiration. There may be one or more sessions that unfold, and it simply depends on the nature of your project.

SKETCHES

Following our sessions, I’ll craft one or more sketches for your project concept with up to three revisions of the chosen sketch. These sketches, shared with you via email, provide a glimpse into the colors, and design elements of your painting. While the final painting may evolve from these sketches, rest assured, each stroke will be imbued with care.

IMPLEMENTATION

The creation of your personalized painting is a journey, varying in duration based on your painting’s size and complexity. From inception to completion, expect periodic updates, offering glimpses into the evolving beauty of your artwork. Whether it takes two weeks or several months, rest assured, each moment dedicated to your painting is infused with dedication and devotion.

TRANSPORT

Once your original painting is ready to grace its destined space, arrangements can be made for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. The cost of shipping is not included in the initial price, and I can provide an estimate for the cost of shipping once the size of your painting is determined so that you can take this into consideration for the budget for your project.

LICENSING

As the creator, I retain the license to reproduce and sell prints of your commissioned artwork. However, if you desire exclusive licensing rights, simply express your interest, and we’ll explore options tailored to your preferences.
